Modalities ~ CranioSacral Therapy

Craniosacral (CST) was developed by osteopathic physician, John E. Upledger, following extensive scientific studies from 1975 to 1983 at Michigan State University. CST is a gentle, non-invasive and powerful hands-on therapy used to evaluate the physiological body system called the craniosacral system. This system is made up of the membranes, cerebrospinal fluid and the structures within the membrane system. The goal is to maintain an ideal environment for the brain and nervous system to develop, live and function.

CST commences with palpation of various areas of the body. This technique alerts you to the areas needing attention. Using light touch, no heavier than the weight of a nickel, restrictions are released in the craniosacral system resulting in improvement.

CST is helpful for:
  • Stress and Tension
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Accidents and Injuries, including Head injuries
  • Migraine Headaches
  • Neck and Back pain
  • Learning Disabilities
  • TMJ Dysfunction
  • Enhances overall Health
  • ... and so much more
